Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice in the UK
The Association for Family Therapy's key aim is to benefit the public by working to continually improve standards of professional family therapy and systemic practice. Its members promote family therapy through practice, training, management and research.
European Family Therapy Association
With 25 members in 25 European countries, as well as in America, Asia and Africa, the EFTA boasts a wide and well established representation.
British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy
BASRT is the UK's national specialist charity for sexual and relationship therapy. BASRT was established in 1976 and includes members with wide ranging professional experience in medicine, psychology, nursing, social work, counselling and psychotherapy. The association maintains links with related professional organizations and is a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy. BASRT promotes the education and training of clinicians and therapists working in the fields on sexual and couple relationships, sexual dysfunction and sexual health.
European Federation of Sexology
The European Federation of Sexology has 27 active member societies and associations. The European Federation of Sexology represents sexologists, sexual medicine clinicians and sex educators across Europe.
The National Organisation for the Treatment of Abusers
NOTA is committed to the prevention of sexual abuse by influencing policy and promoting and supporting effective interventions primarily with people who sexually abuse. NOTA provides a support network for professionals involved in work with sex offenders, and identifies and influences key areas of social policy. NOTA has a growing multi-disciplinary membership comprised of practitioners, managers and policy makers from the public, private and voluntary sectors.

American Family Therapy Academy
Founded in 1977, the American Family Therapy Academy is a non-profit organization of leading family therapy teachers, clinicians, program developers, researchers and social scientists, dedicated to advancing systemic thinking and practices for families in their ecological context.
American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy
The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy, representing the professional interests of more than 23,000 marriage and family therapists throughout the United States, Canada and abroad. Since its founding in 1942, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy has been involved with increasing the understanding, research and education in the field of marriage and family therapy, and ensuring that the public's needs are met by trained practitioners.
The Society for Sex Therapy and Research
Created in 1975, The Society for Sex Therapy and Research is a community of professionals who have clinical and/or research interests in human sexual concerns. It facilitates communication among clinicians who treat problems of sexual identity, sexual finction, and reproductive life and provides a forum for exchange of ideas between those interested in research in human sexuality and those whose primary activities are patient care. The Society for Sex Therapy and Research membership includes professionals in varying disciplines such as Psychology, Medicine (including Psychiatry, Ob/Gyn, Urology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine), Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Nursing, Sexology, and the sciences.
The American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists
A not-for-profit, interdisciplinary professional organization, In addition to sexuality educators, sex counselors and sex therapists, The American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists members include physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, allied health professionals, clergy members, lawyers, sociologists, marriage and family counselors and therapists, family planning specialists and researchers, as well as students in relevant professional disciplines. These individuals share an interest in promoting understanding of human sexuality and healthy sexual behavior.
Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers
Incorporated in 1984, the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers in a no-profit, interdisciplinary organization. The Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers was founded to foster research, facilitate information exchange, further professional education and provide for the advancement of professional standards and practices in the field of the sex offender evaluation and treatment.

International

International Family Therapy Association
The field of marriage and family therapy is growing throughout the world and the International Family Therapy Association is the only organization that provides unity for therapists from east to west. The International Family Therapy Association is the professional association of choice for those interested in the field of marriage and family therapy.
World Association for Sexology
An international body that promotes sexology research worldwide, sponsors a biennial congress, and supports various initiatives, such as intercultural exchange programs.
International Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders
An international non-profit organization committed to the promotion of research and treatment for sexual offenders throughout the world.
